The purpose of the Reproductive Health Interest Group (RHIG) is to bring together students, faculty and staff at the UCLA School of Public Health to learn about and discuss reproductive health issues, share information and engage in service/advocacy projects related to reproductive health.

We have a List Serve: The Reproductive Health Interest Group has a List Serve that has been created for the purpose of distributing important information to our membership list. To post an e-mail to the List Serve, send an e-mail to: rhig@ph.ucla.edu. The posting will be moderated and approved by the Bixby Program. SPECIAL PROJECTS COMMITTEE:  Reproductive Health
Mission: To promote and ensure awareness of local, national and international reproductive and sexual health related issues at the School of Public Health and the general UCLA campus through on-campus advocacy and activities. The committee is committed to providing students, faculty and staff with current and accurate reproductive and sexual health-related information, and to promoting and ensuring access to reproductive and sexual health information and services within the UCLA community.

SPECIAL PROJECTS COMMITTEE:  HPV
Mission: To promote and ensure awareness of the HPV vaccine at UCLA through on-campus advocacy and activities. The committee is committed to providing students, faculty and staff with current and accurate information, and to seek to increase accessibility to the HPV vaccine at UCLA.  (Chairs: Alison Hughes and Bonnie Smith)

SPECIAL PROJECTS COMMITTEE: AFI
Mission: To raise awareness and create change surrounding lack of safety for performers in the adult film industry (AFI). (Chair: Reema Shah)

SPEAKERS COMMITTEE
Mission: To expose the members of RHIG and UCLA community to issues relevant to reproductive health and to increase awareness and interest in the school. This will be achieved by inviting speakers on various topics.

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
Mission: To obtain funds for RHIG events so that our vision and goals can be realized and to raise funds to donate to reproductive health related charity organizations.
